about me

My name is Isadora Maríllia, but you can call me zizzy or zizzyza. I'm a Brazilian illustrator, artist, and designer. 

In my works, I try to mix contemporary themes and questions that surround me, in abstract or figurative works, with elements inspired by mid-century illustrations, vintage ads, constructivism compositions, and so many more.

My true passion has always been observing the world and people, so drawing and painting were the ways I found to expand my thoughts and ideas. My current themes evolve: daily life, the impact of technology, and things that could be seen as silly or almost invisible by others. I like to say that my work is “silly but serious art”.

Nowadays I work mostly with digital illustration, creating static images or animated GIFs. Traditional tools like paper and pencils also have a space in my practice, and I have been keeping sketchbooks for many years.
